An easy way to tell the difference between 2-Quadrant and 4-Quadrant Power Boards are by the thyristors located in the bottom 3rd of the board:- If there are two rows of thyristors then the board is 4-Quadrant. If there are only one row, then board is two quadrant (Non-Regenerative).
